Hi all, I am getting married at The Lighthouse at chelsea Piers and I have to use one of 6 required florist That consist of,..... Jes Gordon, Botanical Design, Diana Gould, Superior Florist Ltd, Atlas Floral Decorators and Bradin Palomo. Does anyone have any input on these florists, price, reliability, style etc...???? This is all so new to me I want to know if anyone has any recommendations?!?! Thanks!!

I've only heard of Atlas, though have not seen their work. There are some reviews on www.projectwedding.com. I'm sure you can FM the ladies over there for more details.

Diana Gould is in westchester, I've heard good things but I never looked into her...I hear she's a bit $$.

Diana Gould did my brother's wedding 5 years ago and the price seemed great for what she got--the flowers were gorgeous-- My SIL told me that she was slighly more than some of the other area florits but her work was worlds apart-- When i called her for my wedding-- she was nice enough tto tell me she would have to charge me much more for coming out to LOng Island and that I was probably better off using someone local. I appreciated her honesty.
Im going to be in a wedding party tomorrow at the Lighthouse-- the bride used Diana Gould as well-- FM me and I can let you know how the flowers were. ALthough my friend who is using her tomorrow-- paid more than 3 times more t han my brother did-- so her prices may have gone up since she has become more popular?
