NY Times - we're in!

Have been getting calls from the fact checker from the NY Times, looks like we're in.

I must admit, this isn't really my sort of thing, but I'm pretty excited now.

Congrats-- we made it in and were VERY excited too..

It's so fun the next day after the wedding to go and see your announcement in the Times..

I asked FH if he wanted to try but he doesn't seem to think we'd make it in. Even though we both have multiple degrees, they arent from top tier schools. Our fathers were not in big business or medicine either. I have yet to see an average Joe in there. Might be nice!

yeah, we didn't even try... they might have fainted over there as my hubby hasn't received a degree yet.

we got into the chicago tribune and it IS fun to see your names in the paper (for something other than committing a crime)

FH said that he'd give it a try anyway. The prestigious ads are the ones you dont have to pay for. I won't pay to have my info put in. He told me about a website that actually dissects each couple and categorizes them (and their parents according to schooling. My cousin made it in last year, but again, she is a doctor who went to U of P. FH was funny though, he said everyonce in a while someone from Syracuse University slips in so maybe I stand a chance (I went there!) I do admit its cool!
