NYC Alterations

I'm doing RK Bridal and I've (1) heard horror stories about their alterations dept. and (2) probably have completely missed the boat since they told me to book by October for the seamstress.

Anyone know any reasonable NYC seamstresses?
Or want to convince me that RK bridal isn't too bad?

I love the woman I met who works at Bridal Garden in the city - I don't know if she does outside work but I can FM you her info if you want - and she seems very relaxed about time so won't go crazy about when you need to go to her. She hasn't done my dress yet but I thought she was great when I met her

I bought my dress at RK Bridal and I'm doing my alterations there. Honestly I have not had a problem with them or a bad experience at all so far at either my 1st or 2nd fittings. I got for my final fitting 12/10. They've been helpful, done what I asked and made good suggestions.

I also don't think you missed the boat I would just call them to see what dates they could give you. They say to call right away but you usually have some time.
