I'm trying to plan a bachelorette party for my friend, and she wants to have it in NYC. We booked hotel rooms, and plan on having a pre-party beforehand with food, drinks and games, but we're having a difficult time coming up with plan for the night. Most of the girls hang out in NYC a lot, including the bride, and aren't into the whole Culture Club/Hunkamania/Birdie's Bachelorette thing. The bride said she doesn't want it to be a typical night out either, but we can't think of anything that stands out from any other night in the city that doesn't fall into that typical bachelorette party thing.
The guests are splitting the hotel cost, so we can't do anything too expensive. We're trying to think of a special place to take her, that'll be a good time. Anyone have any suggestions?

Funny enough my friend just emailed a couple of us about going to this roof top bar that has an amazing view, she said shes been there and its good...here is the link...it looks pretty hott and just what you were looking for

For my friend's we did a whole day of festivities in the city - a morning at a day spa, then dinner, then a pole-dancing lesson that was a lot of fun and then went all over to a bunch of bars and then stayed at a hotel. However, I've also gone to the Awesome 80s prom at Webster Hall for a bday and it was tons of fun, and tons of brides to be were there :)

someplace low key with outside seating is B-Bar & Grill (40 E 4th St)
it's just a regular bar though but it's always packed if it's nice out

There's a bar right in the building we may go to afterwards, Voodoo Lounge, or we'll just hop around to some in the area.
omg I love that place! I haven't been there in years though.. lol I remember all the good times I had there though!

Espo22 - if you get a chance to go there before June 9th, and you don't mind giving me a review, I'd definitely appreciate it! I think one of the other bridesmaids and I may check out a few places we haven't been to over the next few weekends as well.

definetly check out the strip class bachlorette deals...i hear exotic dance central is awesome - and they have bachlorette party packages...it would be awesome if u went there first, and then to the R bar ...have a couple drinks and i'm sure u'll be trying out all the new moves u learned! good luck!

Although it's kind of a typical bachelorette party thing, I've been to show night club to see the time square hunks. It wasn't something I'd do every day so for me it was something that stood out.

My cousin wants to take me to a B'way usical called 'Naked Men Dancing' (or maybe they're singing... I dunno). But it's supposed to be hilarious.
What about a comedy club? Dangerfields, Stand Up NY, the Comic Strip...
