NYC BARS/CLUBS....

Ok so this sat is my b-party and we are going to LIPS for dinner. Any suggestions on where to go out after in the area?

So far I have Tenjune, 1Oak, the Gansevoort. I need some more suggestions!!!

I agree with Pink elephant but yeah i wouldn't go there with things like that. They have one of the strictest door policies and are very picky, tenjune can be like that too so just keep that in mind.

for my sisters bachelorette party we went to lips and then to hogs and heffers and had a blast!!


edited to add: hogs and heffers is more of a dive bar compared to the places u named but its a ton of fun...we were all dancing on the bars all night!!

well if you want to do something different like burlesque show and place that has stripper poles you can try the slipper room

other places, people go to Duvet for bp's alot obviously not something new

if ur looking for a silly night out.. u might just wanna go bar hopping. even walking around that area when its nice out ull have fun..

but if ur not looking to do the silly 'this is my bach party give me attention' type of night.. def try the places we mentioned above lol

hogs n heffers is still open.. theres a cover charge and i personally didnt have a good time there. im so glad i didnt pay to get in cuz we walked out after a drink.

the place was just trashy.


i would try johnny utahs,even though its not in the same area. ride the bullllllll

i didnt go to hogs and heffers but another place just like it, think it was called red wagon or something like that and yeah i didnt have fun either. But this place i went to was real small, there was no dancing only the bartenders on the bar but nobody else. They were snotty and the crowd was bad, maybe it was just the night i went. BUt i went to a different one not hogs and heffers

i think this place allowed it to but no girls were getting on top, well maybe that was also bc over 90% of the ppl in there were guys. It was more of a very biker bar, they all had their harleys parked outside and had their bike crew leather jackets on.

For something different though other than the typical big clubs, i'd do slipper room, they also do burlesque lessons on certain nights you can sign up for which is cool. I think its on before the night really starts, and you and your group of girls can go there, and do a burlesque dancing lesson first.

bars/clubs/lounges. Big into house music or not, hip-hop, more pop type songs. Trendy or laid back?

then i would stick to a club, alot of bars are fun but not all have dancing.

I would stick with a big club bc of that, the music will be good all night and you'll be able to dance all night.

ALOT of the big clubs have been named on here.

These are i would say most of the very well known, big trendy clubs in the city

Marquee is a very trendy well known club, but keep in mind that the lines can be insane bc of this but go to the front if youre with a big group of girls. Upstairs is hip-hop which is the vip area, and downstairs is house and more variety

quite a few of these are right next to one another so you can get there and decide which one you like best by the crowd outside. Such as Marquee, Prime, Mansion, guest house and home are all by eachother within one block of eachother about. ALOT of the big clubs are on 10th and 11th avenue, 26th street, 27th and those surrounding blocks, which is also why all those blocks are closed off on weekends no cars can drive through on most of those blocks
