NYC enagement photo locations?

My FH and I want to take our engagement pictures in NYC but are not very savy on knowing locations to go. We want it to be a fun photoshoot with an artsy style. So far i've seen and like photos taken in SOHO and central park but i dont know the exact areas they were taken in. Any suggestions?? Thanks girls

Thank you all so much for the input!! Its funny because i also liked Dumbo too but didnt mention it, Our photographer: Duet had some pictures on their website done there and it had the feel that i wanted but didnt know what else was in that area. I will also check out the 5 point location that was mentioned...is that what i would google to see what it looks like??
