Hi ladies! I remember there being talk of an after work happy hour GTG for the girls who live/work in NYC, but I think that thread disappeared. Would anyone be interested in getting together after work (maybe 7?) somewhere in Manhattan for dinner/drinks? I think a Tuesday or Wednesday would work best, because places tend to be more crowded on Thursdays and Fridays, and also that's generally when we're all busy anyway. I work in Tribeca, but I'm willing to travel wherever. Here are some ideas I had...
1. Mexican/margaritas: I lovvvvve margaritas, so this would prob be my first choice.
2. Thai: the entrees are generally cheap, and while most thai places aren't known for their drinks, they do have full bars. I'm thinking Klong in the East Village? The food is good (and cheap), and I'm pretty sure they have drink specials.
Feel free to add more ideas!!

I'm in, too!! I work in the Financial district and live in midtown, so I can meet anywhere that's convenient for everyone else.

I would do it but I teach dance on Tuesday and Wednesday nights so any other day would be better for me. I vote for Mexican.

I'm in! Tuesdays are best for me. Food wise im good with both ideas!
Should work for me, too. Some Weds I have to stay late to cover our Charlotte office, but lets just hope this Weds everything is good.

There is also El Cantinero on University Place by Union Square. You can take the N,R,Q,4,5,6, L to Union Square or the F&M train to 14th street.

6:00p or 6:30p is good for me!!! I get out of work at 6pm but I am like a 10min walk to El Cantineros!!! YAY!!!!! Can't wait to see some of you again and some of you for the first time :)
