NYC Kareoke Bars

Anyone have some good recommendations for causal kareoke bars in the city? Ones that are open to the public for singing and/or have private rooms? Any pricing would also be great.

My girls asked me for some ideas for my BP and I LOVE kareoke so I figured I would ask around since I don't know any good spots in the city.

Also, has anyone been to Tortilla Flats? lnterested in hearing some/any reviews.

Japas 38 is suppossed to be good. Private rooms, good bar packages, sushi.

I was suppossed to go recently but had to cancel on my friends :(

Sing Sing or any of the Jappas are pretty good. Both do both open singing at the bar, or you can rent a private room.

Tortilla Flats is kinda small, but fun - especially if you go Monday/Tuesday when they have free bingo for tequilia shots. If you are going for a b party, they can do a prix fix special that would include drinks.
