Hey, a friend of mine is planning a surprise bday for her husband and is looking for a restuarant with a private room in NYC. It can be anywhere, really. Any advice?

I think Jekkyl and Hyde has a private room. It's in the village.

do a search for private rooms in nyc on citysearch, and then narrow down the neighborhood you want it at

I recently went to the Heartland Brewery in Times Square, they had a small room and the appetizers were yummy.
