Thanx for posting those statisitcs!!! The only wedding better than a New York wedding is a wedding in Walt Disney World! New York weddings are worth the extra money because the brides always go the extra mile to make them special!!!

Modern Bride estimates that the same wedding reception in San Diego costing $4,000 would cost $9,000 in Chicago and $15,000 in New York City.

you and me both....that stat surprised me, I was thought California and Chicago were just as pricey as NY.

I think the most expensive thing about weddings is the reception hall - price per plate. Did it list any of that or is that another statistic poll?
