no theme- but my FH is Israeli and so are my parents- so we are having some Israeli food and an DJ who knows middle eastern music. We may have a Henna style cake. But I think that is it.

Re: NYcity brides
We don't have a 'theme' exactly. It started out as a medieval theme. My dress is rather 'Juliet' ish and we are getting married at an old mill that dates back that far. Then we have included our theatre backgrounds. Our table names will be shows that we have done since we have been together, our programs are done like show Playbills, and our rehersal dinner invitations are theatre tickets. So, I guess if you want to call it a theme it would have to be 'theatrical elegance' ( at least I hope the eleagance part is true).

Re: NYcity brides
Maybe you could a beachy theme for August? You won't be at the beach, but the Coral House overlooks the lake, right?
Or else go totally the other way and have a winter wonderland theme to help everyone feel cool on a hot August day!

Thanks, Edeline. That's so funny, because I was going to have my reception at the Coral House! It's near my Grandma's place. But we had to get married on a Saturday night and Coral House only had Fridays. Your wedding there will be gorgeous.
