Nylabones

Is it ok for your dog to chew them apart and eat a little of them?

I hope the answer to this is yes. Scooby loves his and they get smaller and smaller all the time.

It depends how big the pieces are. If the dog is pulling off 'splinters' of it, that will pass right through. Big chunks though arent safe.

as your dog chews and chews, little threads of the nylabone will start to wear away and as long as he's not biting it to pieces and eating it - it will pass through and he'll be okay. Just to be safe though, if you're worried about it - you can alwasy take it away when you start noticeing the nylabone become too ragged or splintered-looking. Nylabones are non-toxic, but they need to be replaced if you notice your dog shredding it up :)
