Ok, I knew what FH was getting into when he signed up but what the ffffff -- why is the pay so freakin low and what is up with the new contract?
There is hardly any overtime because the stations have been flooded with rookies straight out of the academy . I was trying to be understanding but now I'm just getting annoyed -- I feel like the wedding expenses are taking a backseat.
so, basically, he is putting his life on the line for PEANUTS. This is such crap!

Re: NYPD s u c k s (FH related)
FH is in NYPD and I hear about it all the time, he works in the Bronx and his life is on the line everyday. They are way overdue with the contract, supposedly bloomberg said if we give a raise/contract to the NYPD then we have to give it to all other city employees, which is such bullsh*t, hes so annoying! Rumors have it that they will have a new contract this summer so we hope!!

I totally understand FH is an EMT in the city. Earns very little money to save people lives. I don't understand it either.
