I hate those kind of days! Are you obligated to do the work or are people backed up and just asking you for help? I would just tell them 'Listen, I have a lot of work to do already. If I find some free time later on in the day, I will be more than happy to help' and tell them to keep the work at their desk. If I had to sit there and looko at all that it would drive me nuts!

No and this will be a vent now-
UGH
We have the temp mailroom guy who doesn't know his arse from his hand. (that putting it nicely). I have to double check his work because he a temp and basically s u c k s. Thursday and Friday are my busy day with week end finance reports and stuff. I am checking his work as we speak and I found like 7395 errors. He not new. I know I may sound mean but he been here since October- get with the program. UGH

One more thing, when you try to explain his errors or even talk to him he replies 'right' I feel like saying no you are WRONG!!!!!!
