OB/GYN question...

OB/GYN question...

Hi, I've never posted here before, but, I'm looking for some feedback.
I've been a patient at Women's Contemporary Care in Mineola for about 5 years. I'm comfortable in the office, even though they keep me waiting for at least an hour, every appointment...but...I've alwys gone to Dr. Cucco, since she was my sister's Dr. I just went to her as well. I do not care for her as a Doctor AT ALL. But, I never bothered to change...until now. I'm getting married in February, and plan to go off my BC patch right away. I don't want to get pregnant and have Cucco be my Dr.
So, I called and made an appointment, and asked for a different doctor. Anyone who is female, and NOT Cucco. They gave me an appt. with a Dr. Fretwell. I can't find any info on her other than that she is based out of Forest Hills. I guess she's new to Winthrop...Has ANYONE gone to her??? I'm just curious...

Hi, I was briefly a patient at that office as well, i beleive the doctor i saw was dr.hull, its been a while since i was there and i didnt care for them at all either... i started working for another ob/gyn office and went to them..but..wasnt even happy with them..then like you, months before i got married i decided it was time to get serious about my OB/GYN b/c i want to have kids right away..i went to my mothers doctor.. its university plaza ob/gyn on stewart ave in garden city..they are affiliated with winthrop, i see dr.miller who is a man but i've recently meant dr.scavo who is a female and she was GREAT!! i couldn't get preg right away so we were recommended to a fertility doctor but now i'm back with university plaza and expecting the first week in Jan.. i've had some issues though.. which is why i meant dr.scavo in labor and delivery last week but they are AMAZING.. i cant recommend the group enough!!! their phone number is 222-0722.
