What do you need to do? I need to:

finish registering - ASAP!!!
get invites - May
get a shower dress - May
convince FH to wear a regular tie, not a bowtie
order BM dress (just have one) - May
make sure my mom / FMIL get dresses - summer
order / buy FG dress - by August
make menus - DIY, October
buy veil - summer
buy matron of honor / best man gifts - summer
organize RD with FIL's - by August
secure a few more details for honeymoon - June
make oot bags - October

That might be all the big things!

I need to order my invites. I picked them out, but haven't ordered.
We have to do Pre-Cana on June 13 & 14
I have to decide on makeup. A friend works for Lancome, so I'm pretty sure I'll let her do it.
Have to pick out tux's. How far in advance do they need to get fitted?

I think only 2-3 months, even 1 month I think would do, so you have time. FH has a tux, bought it when a friend didn't know you had to order them in advance to rent ... (for his own wedding) so we are going to try to get the guys in the same tux - it's just plain black so that will work. Got it from Joseph A Bank, hope there is one of those in FL where FH's bro and dad live! Those are the only folks who need them besides my dad, small BP.

Do grandpas wear the same tux??? Do they wear a tux at all?

That's what I thought, so I have time. I think Grandpa's can wear a tux, if they want. We don't have any Grandpa's, but my Uncle is going to wear one.

That's what I thought, so I have time. I think Grandpa's can wear a tux, if they want. We don't have any Grandpa's, but my Uncle is going to wear one.

I guess I can have them rent one from the same place if they choose too. Fh still has 2 grandpas - he has all four of his grandparents, so lucky! My dad's parents are here but I do not think they will be attending, they are ill and my grandma has a bit of alzheimer's and doesn't really know what's appropriate .. sad that they won't be there but what can i do. i hope my grandpa comes to at least the ceremony.

YAY!!! It's getting close!

WOOHOO we have our own thread! I told FH earlier in the week that it was 6 months away but just realized that today was the 25! Opps! Anyway I still need:

i know i must be missing stuff but I can't think of it right now! SO exciting!
