Did anyone have a wedding or been to a wedding in october at night at CML? This is probably a stupid question but do they still use the boat. How are the pictures at night there. I am already booked and I'm not going to change it but I forgot that it will be dark at 7:00 and I worried about my pics. thanks

Re: Oct night at CML
I wouldn't worry to much about taking pics at night. Your photographer should know what they have to do so you can get great pictures.
I had asked my photographer the same question and they said its not a problem.
Don't know about the boat thing......sorry.

i went to look at clm when i was hall shopping and i'm getting married oct 5, 2007. we asked and lou said that in that time of year we would still be able to use the boat if wheather is permitting (mainly if not terribly cold or if it is not raining).

yes i believe u can still use the boat in oct unless it is cold or if it rains other than that you definitelty can use it- i think towards nov on you cant use it but it can depend on the weather since last nov was warm- go figure

Yup, like the other girls said... Lou told me weather permitting. I was concerned about the daylight vs. the view and photos as well (I'm an oct. CLM bride too). We did so much rearranging with time between the chruch and CLM. We want all of FH's out of town family to enjoy the view during cocktail hour. Figure that on your day, sunset will be around 6:30. That's what it is on my day in 2008. YAY FOR CLM BRIDES!!

They would have let us use it if we wanted to but it was freezing and not a big deal to me. I know a bride who got married after me (DayBeforeThanksgiving) came in on the boat... As for night pictures, mine came out pretty good. There is better detail in the video but the ones we took outside came out great!
