Hello ladies!! I got engaged last year and I am finally ready to start looking for a location for next year lol. I am looking for something affordable for at least 100ppl in either Long Island or in Queens. Any type of info would really help out (not even sure how to even start when all the places I look up are so beautiful)

Congrats on starting to plan! A couple of starting questions to ask yourself are: Are you looking for a Friday, Sat, Sun? Night time or daytime? What are you comfortable with as a minimum guest count?

Congrats! Also ask yourself what type of season you ideally would like to get married in and what you would like your theme to be. Originally I was all set on rustic everything was picked out I had all my ideas but then when I went to look at venues my vision was for a very wealthy person, not I. So, re-calculated and dug deep to the roots of my FH and I and we picked the Aquarium. Our life has been revolved around being raised on the water, I come from a family of fisherman and it just seemed to click. Sit down and thing of a time of year and what resembles the two of you

Thanks so much for responding. I am trying to look for a Friday or Saturday night (possibly oct.1) at night time would be the best time. So far when we did our list it came out to 115, so I am thinking to think as if 100 ppl will show up.

I do like the whole fall theme but my FH wants something more fancier lol. I had to remind him we weren't rich lol. SO anything that is family orientated.

If you are going to have 100 people you you can definitely take advantage of the all inclusive options that some catering halls offer! East Win offers an all inclusive option of you gaurentee 100 people.

U dont have to go in. I got all of them over the phone or email
I just simply tell them before i make the drive out there i want to know if your in my budget and then they tell you
