Where are you all in planning? When are you ordering things like favors and invitations...I haven't done anything in almost a month and I'm off track LOL

got my invitations and favors ordered.... I am actually done with all my big stuff and magority of small stuff...I can now relax and start up again at the end of summer..with sending out invites and seating charts and stuff like that...

ugghh we havent done much except book our florist and photo/video. we hope to order invitations by the end of may (only because i have the bar exam in july and i refuse to do wedding stuff from june-july).
i still have yet to find a makeup artist (i've had four trials) and i have a hair trial in may.
im making the votive candle placecard holders which will double as favors, and i already bought all the holders.

well, we pretty much decided to do a donation as our favor.
we haven't looked at invites or registered yet. We are hoping to get started.
Ordering BM dresses in 3 weeks.

Ordered and rec'd invites. Favors...have, just need to put together. BM dresses...finalizing this weekend! DJ done Photo/Video done Flowers done Officiant done D.O.C booking within week Honeymoon done Registry done (may still add on things) Tuxes...still need to do...
I think other than little things here and there...we are pretty good..whew...
Until, I read something here that makes me go...hmmmmm I didnt' even think about that!
ETA: Oh yeah...Rings! We know what we want, but are just waiting for time to pass and money to appear before we order them.

We are up to ordering our invitations. I have been to 3 different invite places and neither of them have my invited I want. So now I will be ordering them online this weekend (hopefully). I think this is my last big thing to do.

I am pretty much done with all of the big stuff too. I've ordered my invites and favors already and hired all the major vendors.
I still have to look for dresses for my flower girls, get my corset and accessories for the day and do some small DIY projects like petal cones for the ceremony.
I honestly think that it is the little stuff that's going to end up driving me nuts!!

Here's what I've done, in order: Venue - booked Save-the-dates - Sent Band - booked Dress - ordered
Pending: BM dresses - selected but not ordered
Photo/Video - Have worked everything out with Silverfox but need to go in and hand over my savings!
Limo - Thought I was set on a company but then got FM warning me against them
Flowers - trying to schedule an appt w/ Laurie @ LA Blossoms but she's booked til May
Invitations - Need to meet with someone
Favors - Considering CDs but not finalized
Honeymoon - Need to do research. Hoping for Fiji.
Wedding bands - Need to make an appt. w/ the jeweler
What I have done is..... -booked the reception hall/church -booked florist -booked limos -booked phot/video -booked dj -got dress -sent the stds
I have started to order bm dresses, started on makeup and hair trials. Decided on favors/placecard holders, (little pumpkins for everyone will serve as both) but haven't ordered anything. Going to pre-cana next weekend.
What I haven't done... -guys tuxes -flowergirl dresses -invitations/programs -need to get veil, shoes -bm, gm gifts -book hm -need to get wedding bands
I can't think of what else but I feel like I am so behind. I am glad to see that everyone isn't finished with everything.

- get the rings - make menus - order and put together favors - finish ordering BM dresses (1 to go) - go over the guest list again - Tuxes - RD
Gosh, I can't think of anything else right now! i know something will hit me! We all have 6 months!! Can you believe it?/??

I think I know which bridesmaids dresses to go with - now I gotta get the girls going...
I gotta do invitations this month - I have no motivation anymore.
I guess eventually favors, BP gifts, dress accessories & undergarments, wedding bands ( someone said 2 months before is usually OK), hmmm....
When you guys say 'menus' you mean typing them out? I know WM provides them when you sit down...
