We are going to Hawaii for 2 weeks. First week is Maui 2nd is Kauai! I can't wait. I'm def going to need a nice long relaxing vacation after all this planning!

What do you still have left to do?

I am beginning to get stressed, I have a list a mile long, and it never seems to get any smaller.

We are probably both goign to atlantic city for our bachelor/ette parties, and we are honeymooning in Hawaii - 5 days in Maui and 5 days in Kauaii.

Re: October brides....

there are so many details to take care of now. i have scheduled my menu meeting with NRC, meeting with photographer, florist, & first fitting all on august 13th!! its the only weekday we'll be on LI until the wedding!!

meeting with priest & music director at church on september 13th.

so i'm hoping only two trips to LI for wedding-related stuff until the wedding!! i hope it all works out!

no bachelorette party planned yet...
we'll see.

fh is going to vegas the weekend before our wedding for three days for his friend's bachelor party. crazy.

ok, so next i have invites, tuxes, wedding bands, menus, placecards, and programs.

what else are you ladies working on?

eta: hawaii for 13 days over christmas break.

I am totally stressing! I feel like I am getting nothing done because for everything I do I find 2 other things to do. And to top it off I am super emotional & keep crying over everything.

Re: October brides....

fmil booked rehearsal dinner tonight!! caffe grappa on hempstead turnpike in east meadow. great place, good price. i'm happy & relieved that she took care of it- one less thing for me to worry about!

also started to buy goodies for bathroom baskets. i'm also making groomsmen a basket with stuff as well for the morning of the wedding. fh won't know what to do when his shoe is scuffed, button needs to be sewn, or he forgot his socks, and i'm not there (sad but true) so i'm making them a little basket with necessities.

moh bought fabulous paper at paper access in the city for the placecards, menus & programs.

slowly but surely, getting stuff done!!

12 weeks from friday!
