Where should I be at this point? I feel very behind. My dress still hasn't come in, I haven't picked up a birdcage veil or found a hair clip. Havent even done hair and makeup trials yet. Invites are being finalized this week. Im printing them myself since I work at Staples. I think I might need an extra 3 months to get myself together

I feel ya! My dress has come in but my mom is making my veil using the lace from the veil she wore when she got married, it's no where near finished. I haven't gotten a headband or finalized my DOJ. I've been putting off calling hair and makeup people for trials because a) we are still finalizing where we will be getting ready the day of and b) I feel like everywhere I look the prices are so high and I don't want to ask my BM to pay them. My invites are mostly done, I DIYd them too, hopefully sending them out by Monday. I started one DIY project (ribbon pomanders for ceremony decor) but I still have a long way to go and I'm buying materials week by week to use coupons at michaels. The rest of my DIY projects are just ideas (table numbers, menus, tags for flip flops, signs for flip flop basket signature drinks and bathroom basket, and a card box) and I don't have materials.
Also, we haven't done a cake tasting, looked at tuxes or picked out favors yet.
Still soooo much!!!

Thank You!!!! I feel a bit better knowing that Im not the only one still in idea mode. I know everything will get done, I just can't picture how yet.

My dress is in and my first fitting is Aug. 14th. My invites are already out and my DIY programs are done. Still haven't done a hair or makeup trial. I also need to send out my brooches to have my bouquet made and figure out day of jewelry. Escort cards still need to be written out and I also will be making table numbers. Still debating if I'll be doing ribbon wands for the ceremony too...

My dress came in 2 weeks ago but I haven't scheduled a fitting yet. Invites went out on the 1st. I have my veil, DOJ, and hair comb although I think I want a blingy headband now so I have to search for that. I've had my MUA booked since the beginning of the year. It is the MUA who did my MU for my 1st eshoot. Her name is Nadine Vasquez and her website is www.nadinevasquez.wix.com/makeupartist She did a great job and my MU lasted all day! Her prices are also the cheapest I found. All my other vendors are booked as well.
The last thing I need to book is a hotel to get ready the day of and spend our wedding night. Everything else is just the smaller details. I still need my undergarments. I have an appt next wk with FH and the groomsmen to get their tuxes picked out. Will also go shopping for my moms dress and to look at flower girl dresses.

Mine is a surprise... booo... All I know it's at my mom's house. It sucks because I go to my mom's in my pj's or in my 'house clothes' all the time. I might just bring an extra dress and just leave it there. But I'm really excited...

Mine is Aug. 4th! Since this is my second wedding, I'm doing a small brunch 'Sprinkle' at home. Closest friends and family. Exactly the way I want it! I'm really excited!

Lol I am actually excited its a surprise! I've never had a surprise party before. I asked my girls though if I could give them my outfit so just in case I'm looking a mess or something lol So they will have it for me to change into. I told myself though, that if they invite me to lunch or any outing I need to make sure my hair is done and I have a mani/pedi just in case! Lol

My dress fitting probably won't be until the end of August, I still have to schedule that.
I'm assembling all my invitations this weekend and sending them out either next weekend or the weekend after.
After that, all I have to do is finish the rehearsal dinner things, honeymoon flights, and all the little things.

Hey date twin! You aren't alone. I still need to order favors, send out invites, purchase undergarments, etc. I would try to do the hair and makeup trials soon. I had a very hard time finding someone who was available, willig to travel to the hotel and in my price range. My dress still isn't in either, so don't stress too much about that. Once you figure out how you want to do your hair youll know what type of hair clip to buy. Try not to stress!! It's all going to work out.

We picked out tuxes this week and we both got our wedding bands. Plus most of our invites went out this week, the last 10 or so will go out early next week.
