Hi guys..I can't belive how quickly this is coming...we are picking up our invites this weekend and hopefully mailing by the 12th. That is our deadline for ourselves =) We just got an invitation for a november wedding and were like wow..maybe we are behind! Almost everything is set but now we have to meet with everyone again..ahhh...no time and of course things like favors and programs i still have to do..i think a leave from work would be super helpful right now! Another dilemma!!! LOL... didnt have the stuffing party.. ran out of ink in my computer.. (we are doing labels!) My RSVP Date is Sept 12th!!! Is that enough time???? They will hopefully be sent by the end of this week!!!!!!!!!!! LOL... Another interesting bump in te road!!! 66 Days!!!!! Woooo Hoo!!

I mailed out my invites 8/2 and have recieved back 13 repsonses, 12 yesses and 1 no. I can't wait till the mail come today.

well, all the dresses are in, the tuxs are ordered and the invitations went out on Saturday! Just have menus, programs and favors to make!! Not to much! By the way - anyone have a program sample for me? Thanks!

myrsvp deadline is friday and there are about 30 invites that still havent responded. finally booked honeymoon to hawaii. now need tuxes and limos and favors

Just mailed my invites today ... hooray! I need to do programs now ... anyone have a template?
And - is it bad to skip the menus - I just don't have the time to do them all.

I dont think i am having a menu, We still need to go in for the tasting... got the invitations out.. the second batch (14 of them) are in tomorrows mail! eek! Got my shoes!!! Sooooo Exciting!!! LOL! Got my first response.. My parents will gladly attend! LOL... I need my honeymoon still .... Looking for CHEAP but romantic... travel agents just dont seem to get it! FI needs Tuxes.... Good Luck Gals!!!

For those who need a good travel agent, try Liberty Travel in Baldwin on Sunrise Highway and Grand Ave - Deborah is excellent and will work within your budget.....
As for program templates, do a search with the word 'template' under brides helping brides - there are a few mentioned there for free....
By the way, this is what I did all day today...please disregard FH's shoes in the background
I did about 70 of the 90 favors, until I ran out of ribbon, so I will have to go tonight to get more, so I can finsih the inside of the favors.
Then I have to put a bow on the outside, but not sure how t store them, once I put the bows, sicne I don't want to crush them.
I also have to go to get undergarments since my dress fitting is on saturday!

I have been doing the 'registry peek' alot latley and things are coming off QUICK I still have NO IDEA when my shower is (these girls are good) everytime I think I know when it is they throw me off so I am totaly clueless

Stop peeking, I did and I regreted it. It will eb alot more fun if you walk into it having no idea!!
I didn't know it was my shower until 15 minutes before, but it still tokk a tiny bit of the excitement away form it.

Tomorrow I am going to try it on, so I know how low everything will be so I can get the under garments. I guess it will be in the next couple of weeks (I hope)

i had my first fitting last week and my second is on september 13th. can't wait!
our invites are all ready to go out. i'll probably take them to the post office on friday.
i honestly think that the only things i have left to do are the programs (formatted already, just waiting to insert the actual readings after our meeting with the priest) & seating. is that possible?!
what else are you ladies working on? i must be forgetting something big.
still can't find a unity candle i like. i was looking for the lenox one but can't find it anywhere. i want something very simple. any suggestions?

I had my first fitting... My dress is sooo Pretty!!! I, on the other hand have decided to eat nothing but milk and water till the day before my wedding.. I came home and told my Bridesmaid I looked like a great white whale!!!!!!!!!!!
I have been having nightmares about my wedding day lately!!!LOL... The other night I dreamt that I was in the city at 2:45pm on my BIG DAY, and I was upset cause I had to go to get my hair done alone.. then I realized the time (church starts at 3!!) and was trying to figure out how I was going to make it back to LI without being late when I realized I still havent booked the Limos!!!!!!!!!!!! (ps... I have no idea why I was in the city in my dream.. I live in Suffolk county!)LOL
I am getting responses in the mail!!! Hooray!!!! Still no No's .... Need no's.... Doesnt anybody realize... there needs to be a few people that say no to ones wedding?!?!?! (That sounds worse than its meant to be.. u gals understand!)
Having a total fit about finances lately... If all of our guests say yes.. its gonna be at least another grand out of our pocket... and we really dont have that!
QUESTION... Girls who are doing CD FAVORS.... 1st.. Bird.. yours are absolutely Gorgeous!!! Here's my question... Are you doing one per couple/family or one per individual??????

We just ordered our cake today. The guys are going for their tuxedos on Saturday. I have to finish wrapping the favors, do the seating and placecards. How is everyone else doing?
