October Brides!

I'm under the 5 month mark and i'm FREAKING out. I am sooo anxious to get my invitations out, they are just SITTING THERE!

What has everyone done so far?? I'm on etsy looking for little things to pick up.. I feel like there is so much to do still. I'm going Sunday to pick out my flowers, and we still need our wedding bands and grooms outfits from Men's Warehouse..

What little things are you doing now??

Little things left are cake tasting (if that's considered little), getting shoes & jewelry for the day of, getting our wedding bands and getting programs/table numbers/menus/escort cards/a card box.

Can't believe October is 5 months away!

I'm on this same track. I've been panicking that I'm falling behind with not having my invites done yet. I just got my proofs today though =)

We still need to order our programs. I think I was in over my head trying to diy them...got only 20 done and am over it. lol
Right now, FH and I are trying to finish our song list for the dj, renew passports, and start wrapping our boxed wedding invites for mailing (we've wrapped about 10, so long way to go). We have our cake tasting the end of this month, and I have to get in contact with the hall to discuss placement of Photo Booth, cigar rollers, etc. The hotel bags we'll tackle on when it gets closer to the wedding.
The rehearsal dinner menu is next on our list. We're gonna go to Novita next wk for dinner, so we'll be able to finalize what we want on there.

I actually thought I was really behind, but reading all of these, it looks like I'm right on track!!

Invitations are ready today! Can't wait to get them!!

Is anyone not opting for the limo? I am trying to save money. I don't want to spend all my mother's money on frivolous things. Do I sacrifice the limo for a nice honeymoon suite? I am starting to think that I should've picked a wedding venue that was attached to a hotel.

My FH's best friend's wedding is a a month or so before ours, and he had the same issue. They have an early wedding, so they aren't able to do pics anywhere else before the ceremony but at the venue. Initially, they thought about forgoing the limos altogether, but opted to get one limo for the bride and her bridesmaids. The groomsmen/groom are all riding together, or finding their own way to the venue. I think it comes down to if you're doing a first look at another location before or pics after your ceremony/whether or not its at your venue, and how many people are in your bridal party, to give you a better idea if its worth getting it.

This! OMG yes! I feel like i am running in circles chasing my own tail. I have a planner too and they are so helpful and so are my bridesmaids when I threaten to jump off a bridge cause I am going crazy but I feel like there is sooooo much to do and not enough time to do it all.

Still left to do:
Invitations
finish card box (fh and I are horrible at starting projects and not finishing them)
Decorate the wine ceremony box, write letters, and pick a wine
Frame for the guest book poster
Putting together the centerpiece base
ordering ceremony/reception decorations
finish play list
book flight to LA for connecting flight for honeymoon
find a place to get nails done that I like (gone to 3 places nails didnt last a week)
