October Brides!

Now that we are getting so close I am freaking out a little bit about what is left to do! We picked out our menu and linens yesterday and also will be having a cake tasting next week. I am getting so nervous that I am going to forget something! What are all you ladies up to? What is left to do??

I still haven't done flowers yet. Avoiding it has become my full time job, lol. Tuxes and rings still have to be done. Other than that, nothing big left to do. Invites are signed, sealed and ready to go out next weekend. We have to set our appt to do final menu and such also.

I still haven't been able to find a favor my mom and I both like (since she's paying for it so I need to do that). Having another hair trial tomorrow(first one was horrible), get my ring bearer a gift, pick out wedding rings and pick out flowers (vendor booked just need to choose). FH was put in charge of figuring out transportation like a shuttle and he hasn't so he needs to get his butt in gear.

other than that, just little things- invites went out today yay!

oh and writing my vows- that's probably a big thing lol

Time is really flying! All major things are done.
I have and paid for FH ring, my ring is in fh is finishing making payments on.

My dress is in we are waiting to do the first fitting till September cause I am still trying to lose more weight. I have my doj jewlery, shoes, hair extensions and hair clip, and undergarments.

Tuxes are done.

Favors are done, guest book, card box are all done. We have our cake topper, cake serving set, and garter.

Honeymoon is booked and we pay the final payment this month.

We picked out our menu and cake already and Fh and I created our own custom menu we just have to print them.

We are working on escort cards and seating charts right now. Programs and signature drink sign.

I am waiting for one more thing to be delivered and finish making jewelry for the bridesmaid and all their gifts are done. We are debating on if we are getting parents gifts cause we are paying for our wedding not them so not sure if it is necessary. Still have to get fh a gift.

Still have to get honeymoon lingerie and some clothes and essentials.

We have our final appt set with our florist already, and I have reached out to all my vendors to find out when I can schedule the rest said it was too early and to contact them back in a few weeks.

Our a officiant is going to call us end of this month to schedule our final appointment.

We are going to get our marriage license end of this month beginning of next.

Just ordering a few more ceremony decor items.

We have our rehearsal invites printed, sealed and stamped ready to go out end of this month. We plan on starting to buy our paper goods and little things like wine and soda for that little each week sort of thing since we are having ours at my sisters house, we are having an Oktoberfest theme.

I still have to make my last hair cut and color appointment and waxing appointment. My day before the wedding nail appointment is made for me and my bridesmaids already.

Still have to wait till final appointment with photographer to do our day of timeline.

So just small things left but they have been the most annoying. Like the escort cards and seating chart pain in my *** so far. This one doesn't like that one, this one is no longer talking to that one, FH mom and dad are divorced, family drama, friend drama. It's like can't we all just get along and make my life easier lol.

We have all the major things covered, we just need to take care of all the little details now.
FH still needs to figure out what gift we should get his dad.
Still need to finalize rehearsal dinner menu and send out group invites for that.
Meet with photographer and videographer and go over the day's time line/must have photo list.
Meet with the dj to go over the lighting placement.
Marriage license
Seating chart/escort cards
Make final payment on honeymoon this month.
Everything else is pretty much calling/confirming with our vendors so that we're all on the same page.

We have our appointment to pick out the menu and other finalization stuff on August 25th. On Monday we are calling to make the appointment to finalize the readings and vows for the ceremony and also to speak with the music coordinator. Next weekend we are sending out the invites as well. Now, on top of final appointments with DJ and photographer, it's just a matter of the little stuff like the card box, cake topper, etc. My first dress fitting is on the 13th so I want to get my day of jewelry before then.

ETA: crap, totally forgot about a big one: the favors!

when is everyone planning to begin to reach out to all of their vendors again for updates, details, scheduling final planning meetings, etc? Should we start doing that now? ahhh it's so close! :):)

My florist allowed me to set up my final appointment for October 1st. My officiant I called him he said he will call me end of this month to remind me to get the marriage license and to set up our final appointment. Our DJ said to contact him 4-6 weeks before the wedding to set up a final appointment and our photographer was the same. Our doc will contact us but I think 4-6 before is when we will be hear from them. I believe that is the normal standard 4-6 weeks before your wedding for you to contact your vendors. I tried early cause just cause I wanted to see who will let me I want it done lol.

We are giving ours to our officiant when we meet cause he actually will bring it with him the day of. That way one less thing for me to remember to bring with me that is really important lol.

I ordered the candy for the candy buffet, finally got my wedding band (still need FH), ordered all the bridal party gifts and more junk I can't remember

My stress and anxiety has been so high lately I haven't even wanted to do anything wedding related ( lot of stress not wedding related)

FH and I are still working on day of stationary. That is our big thing right now and I just want it done. I am so over day of stationary lol.

my day of stationary cost me like.. nothing LOL I got my programs on zazzle for $50 and my table numbers for $30 for 15 of them and $100 for my menus.. i'm a happy camper!

FH and I designed all our stationary stuff ourselves like our std, invites, rsvp cards, guest book, rehearsal invites. So we did the day of stationary too and its just a lot to design and create this close I am just overwhelmed with trying to get everything done graphic design wise so we can print. Plus I made a boo boo recently on my bridal party gift etsy order I misspelled the simplest name for the hangers and I contacted the store to find out if I could send back or order a new one. Whatever would be the most effective fix at this point since it was my error spelling the name wrong in the order message. I feel like cause I am stressed I am making a lot of mistakes lately which is not good when your designing and editing your own stationary lol.
