October Brides!

What do you have left to do?

I'm about 7 months out and I still have to:

Finish DIY Centerpieces
DIY Cardbox
Order Wedding Rings
Start on Invitations
Groom and Groomsmen Tuxes
Transportation
Make-up and Hair Trial
Buy Veil and Jewelry
Order Favors

Ahhhh I feel like I'm falling behind!

October Brides!

Congratulations to you both! Time really does fly by. Wishing you both the best. I'm 25 days away and I still feel like I'm missing something because there's still quite a lot to do. Just take a deep breathe and attack each thing. Enjoy each moment it helps ease the stress. It's what I did. Good luck you guys.

Haha it seems like we're all in the same boat! I'm going to try to tackle down all the DIY stuff by June.
@NoLiesJustLove thanks for the advice. I really have to just focus on one at a time before going nuts. I can't imagine being 25 days away! So exciting! Congrats I hope your day will be absolutely perfect.

Get DOJ
Get one more thing for groomsmen and bridesmaids
Get the youngest flower girl her dress

Re: October Brides!

I don't want to think about the list of things I have to do still...

But I have a question about your centerpieces. Since you're DIYing, who's responsibility will it be to set all that up? Are you getting a day of coordinator or will a family member/friend be doing it for you? I'm stuck on this because I'm DIYing as much as possible too.

October Brides!

Steph, I noticed in another post that you said you were getting married at the Riviera...they provide the centerpieces through their in house florist...not sure if you were aware of that or if you just wanted to do something different. We changed ours and are going gerbera daisies and mason jars with burlap underneath. They were free of charge to change since we are also using them for all of our flowers. Honestly, they were very affordable.

My Maitre D said he would take care of everything but I'm going to have FH and the Groomsmen help out too since we're allowed to arrive 3 hrs before the ceremony.

Re: October Brides!

That's good to know! Main jars and daisies are exactly my thing!! I wanted to make each table a little different and I have find of my own decor to elaborate then. I haven't contacted that florist yet about flowers but figured we'd probably go with them since they're already providing those flowers. Since the flowers will for anyway and I'll won't enjoy them after the day, it's a category I want to keep the budget for that down

Whoohoo, that's definitely progress!

I sent out my e-save-the-dates this morning using paperlesspost.com. Awesome templates to chose from and you're able to collect mailing addresses for the formal invitations. Got lots of compliments which was nice considering we took our picture for it this Saturday at 6:30am before the pre-cana lol.

I also just got invitation samples from minted today. I asked the FH could meet me for lunch so that we can look it over, the plan is to order the invitations tomorrow and mail them out in two weeks.

October Brides!

Just a little over 5 months to go now...

We just ordered our invitations last week so all we have left to do now is...

Order favors
Pick our menu items
Go to the bakery to pick out the cake
Get my FH and his groomsmen tuxes
Buy my jewelery and shoes
Buy our wedding rings
Buy the bridal party and parents gifts
Book the rehearsal dinner venue
Rent a card box
Buy frames for the table numbers
Order menu cards and ceremony programs
Figure out what I am doing for the escort cards

Wow...writing it all out definitely makes it seem like a lot more than I thought. And here I thought I was almost done!
