ok, so MIL today was saying about our HM that its going to be hard to find a place for a hm because its october..! so i want to know what are your plans and what is the nice place for HM where there is no hurricanes at that time.,.!

We were worried about the weather too but we are going to St. Lucia anyway. I purchased the extra travel insurance just in case we have to reschedule due to a storm / hurricane.
Hurricane season is June - November... so I am not going to avoid going for the tropical HM that I really want just for that reason lol. There is always a chance of a hurricane during those months but... the insurance makes me feel better about it. HTH!

We are going to the Southern Caribbean on a cruise- its really the tail end of the hurricane season and it should be fine- we bought the insurance- but honestly even during hurricane season southern caribbean hardly ever gets anything

We are going to Riviera Maya, Mexico. Most people don't realize that hurricane season really starts in June and ends in October. You should be fine anywhere... get insurance just in case.

We will be in St. Lucia too!!! We leave the sunday after our wedding :).

We are doing St. Lucia... When it comes to weather anything can happen.. I say just go with what you want and just buy the insurance..

I'm having the same dilemma...we were going to go to Italy...but with FH being laid off from wall street - we decided to keep a lil more cash in the bank :) i was JUUUST looking at Aruba today.....

Aruba Curacao Bonaire Barbados isn't below the hurricane belt, but close so it doesnt get assss many as other islands Maldives Brazil Cabo

We're going to St. Thomas. When I booked everything I asked about the weather in Oct. they said it was humid but that's about it.
It's the end of hurricane season so most places you should be OK.

We are going to Sandals Whitehouse in Jamaica. We took out the extra travel insurace as well just in case. But a few friends of mine traveled in November and the weather was AMAZING and it was in the 80's. YAY!

We are going to hawaii for 17 days and doing a cruise around the islands and all. I am not going to worry about the weather. I am sure it will be great and being near my HUSBAND I will only see sunshine
