october brides i need feedback

i dont know what to do. Are all october weddings brown red orange and yellow? i think i want blues purples and silver but that reminds me of a winter wedding. do u think i should change my date. It's supposed to be 10/10/10.

I wasnt personally a fall bride. but i definitely wouldnt limit yourself to that color scheme based on your date. i think you can make most color scheme work somehow, regardless of the date. go with what you love and it will be nice for ppl to see something a little different anyhow. the purples and blues are darker, richer colors that i think could definitely work.

you can def do a plum or navy in the fall just like you can do brown in the spring/summer if its paired nicely. the plum color looks really pretty in the fall

I did october 5th 2008 - you can do any colors you want! My floral arrangements were yellows and salmons and ivory to keep the warmth without getting too heavy and i did ivory over gold for the linens

I'm doing brown, gold and orange family colors because I happen to like these colors and luckily none of my friends' weddings used these colors yet. If I have to choose another color I would most likely pick purple. Love the samples pics from the 2nd comment. You can try purple and gold... I think these are fall-ish colors.

i'm 10/9/10 and my colors are pink and green.
Although I do like that plum... maybe I'll change to pink plum and blue....

I thought October was to do those colors also, but now a days i think people do whatever colors they like best.

I'm not limiting myself to those colors. My wedding is also 10-10-10. My colors are pink black and white

i'm 10/10/09 too! i'm doing the traditional fall colors, but purples/blues/silver (think grapes, vineyard, dahlia's, etc...) would work. some of the pictures posted here are lovely.
