I personally prefer closed toed shoes at formal events. JMO

I want to be able to wear stockings, and I have a pet peeve about stockings and toes

See, I hate pantyhose and refuse to wear them. Open toe all the way!

i am november, but i am going to wear closed to b/c i think it is going to be a little too cold and out of season to wear open toe (even though i would rather have open toe), but i think it comes down to what you are comfortable in and if anyone can even see your shoes

I was in Oct and I wore closed- I wish I wore closed, they were so uncomfortable!

I will wear closed...I'm getting married on 10/2. I just think it'll look nicer/more formal. But, I don't reallly think it matters, whatever you're more comfortable in.
