we are getting married at the end of october so i was wondering if anybody had any ideas of a place with great weather around that time. it would definitly run into november and i think this is hurricane season around the islands not sure though. please post any ideas you have. thanks in advance melissa and tom
We did a Mediterranean Cruise. Every port we were in, the weather was perfect.
still very unsure about where to go. listening to all you guys on here it seems more and more likely we are going to end up in either aruba or st. lucia. evryone keeps saying such great things about them.
I got married on 10/28/05 and went to Fiji. It was awesome and the weather was great.
We're going to Disney for half and then we're thinking Punta Cana, DR for the second half (10/7-10/14). That's the part that's making me nervous. I think it will be ok, but ya never know. I'm hoping for the best. I might also look into Puerto Vallarta in Mexico as well b/c I don't think that's in the hurricane belt.

We are going to The US Virgin Islands. They say that hurricane season ends towards the first week in October. We were gonna go to Aruba but FH got nervous when they started talking about striking becuase of the way they handled the disappearance of that girl. So we changed it. Im a bit nervous but I guess we can only pray for the best!
I had the same issue - also a honeymoon extending into early November. My FH and I decided on Nevis in the West Indies near St Kitts (someone had posted a review on this site about the four seasons there, which is why I checked it out). We found a beautiful little place called the Montpelier Plantation. The customer service has been amazing (they respond to all of my questions within a day). The reviews are all positive on tripadvisor. There is always the slight risk of a hurricane, but we purchased the trip on expedia.com with the insurance policy, which means we can change the trip up to 48 hours before (I really, really hope that doesn't happen - but this exact situation did happen to me this past october with hurricane wilma and Cancun - expedia.com was wonderful, they quickly changed the trip and we went to puerto vallarta instead). I am sooo excited about this trip - it's all my FH and I talk about!!!! Good luck! if you have any questions, let me know!
My sister went to Aruba around that time and said it was great! I heard that they are out of the hurricane belt as well. Good luck!
Mrs. Stefan definitely get insurance because I can tell you the hurricane season definitely does not end in October. I live in FL and we got hit the end of Oct. and there were still hurricanes out there after the season ended.
