We are doing the one night cruise (Norweigan Dawn) around NYC on Oct. 14-Oct 15.

Did you book yet?? I really want to do this, FSIL is saying she can't afford it now... Everyone I have asked said if we went out to dinner limo club it would be similar price, plus I want my sisters who are under 21 to be with me...

I know my invites went out, but not really sure when it is...

Same here. I seriously doubt they ae going to be able to keep this a surprise. I know where it is, I know the invites are out, but the RSVP date hasn't passed yet, I know I have a wedding July 15, and the LIW BBQ on July 23. And Macy's discontinued my towels! Although since the invites are out maybe someone will go take advantage of the fact that they are 60% off!!!

Wow, there have been a lot of posts on this thread today!

Ok, I know my shower is going to be pretty late. My cousin (MOH) hasnt even called my mom about the shower yet and I dont mind b/c we are still trying to tackle the issue of where we are going to live.
We are meeting with my parents this weekend b/c we might move in with them for now and have the entire downstairs and then when we have kids, they would go downstairs and we would go upstairs. So, FH will sell his house in Rocky Point and we will rent the top floor of my house b/c my brother will still live on the first floor. Its a long complicated story and I dont want to bore everyone with my drama filled life
As for bach. party, I am doing something different, I am taking my MOH and my best friend for massages and doing dinner. I am not a big fan of bach parties since everyone of them i have been to have resulted in disaster!
Congrats to all the ladies who are in the middle of buying homes. I give you all a lot of credit planning weddings and buying houses at the same time

Well my MOH is my sister and I helped her with booking it online but the other girls dont really know I know. We did it online and we did 3 to each room and it came out to around $200 each. A limo, dinner and club in the city is around the same price so we felt this was a great price. Plus we get to spend the whole night together, there is some much to do and no one has to worry about drinking and driving or anything else.

My FFIL's memorial candle was delivered today.

You are absolutely right, that is a really good price, it would def come out to the same price if you just went to the city for dinner and a club, my cousins bach party cost around the same and all we did was go to the city and go on a dinner cruise and we pretty much spent almost the same amount of money and it was kind of disappointing for the amount we paid and what we got
