This is where the '6 month girls' can chat about our weddings, how BUSY we will be this summer (summer? what summer?) and make sure we are all on track.

Congrats on the house, you are very lucky...

FH and I are were just talking to FMIL about moving upstate, PA or CT, cause we won't be able to afford a house on LI

I made my appt to go try on my dress for July 11th. Went with FH and FMIL to look at places for the rehersal dinner.. She offered to have it at her house and hire a wait staff and bar tenders and rent a tent and pay for the caterer... I was for surprised...

Amen 2 that, we are looking out of state as well, taxes are INSANE out here and I want a huge home. We dec to move south and have a brand new home built for 1/2 the cost as a home out here and wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy less taxes. I have alot of clients that offered me jobs @ the same NY salery. It's sooo sad to move away from family but they are not paying our morg payments!

haha sure come down south with us lol, I was becomming a cop years ago and now an account mgr in medical sales. I really want to finish RN'ing school......

OHHH guys PS i just got 4 reasponses of YES back and I just sent them on monday teehee!

SO exciting...............

I was going through the rest of my shower things and came across a gift my mom made for me, she made a hanky with part of her wedding dress and put a beautiful poem in the box with it. I got soo damn teary eyed last night!!!! That gift ment more then all the other things I got........

Have many October brides had their shower already???
Just wondering if I need to start getting dressed up on the weekends.
I have a feeling mine MIGHT be around the first week in August because it is my brothers b-day and my mom asked if we should do a brunch for him. So I said,,,,oh you mean for my shower and she shot me a look.

I couldn't read it @ my shower I had to have my MOH read it then she started to cry and then all my guests were crying LOL..........My mom's gifts were very special, and for her to just get over cancer it made my shower even more special b/c she was there and healthy....!

Yeah i've known since May. I love it though! Stuff is coming off my registries and it's fun to guess who got what. My poor MOH though. She's had some bad luck planning it. She ordered the invites (this is what i'm told) and she accidentally ordered them with the wrong date. So then she ordered more with the correct date and it turned out that she didn't order enough! so she sent some of the ones with the wrong date crossed out to my close immediate bridesmaids & family. then she got a check from one of my BM's and there was a problem with the bank and how she wrote the check. She can't seem to get a break!
