HAHA bought one~

Hey girls! A lot has been accomplished lately....
I had my shower on the 9th!!! It was awesome!
Booked makeup.
BM dresses are in.
Mom's dress is in.
One of our favors has arrived.
Invitation proof expected on Friday.
Almost done with guest list for calligrapher.
And we are homeowners!!! It was a painful process but we closed last week and got the keys yesterday...so exciting!!

I can't believe how fast time is flying

Congrats... Good luck stuffing... I little tip I found to be very helpful.

NUMBER the response cards so they correspond with your list. SOme people will forget to put there names or it won't be legible, this way you will have no problem knowing who they are from. Plus when you get the responses back, it will be so much easier to find the person, cause your list will be in number order.

I got 6 no's so far.... but I knew these people weren't coming

You can number your list first, but don't number the response cards until stuffing otherwise you may drive yourself crazy looking for all of the matching envelopes are response cards

Actually, I wanted calligraphy sooooooooooooooo bad (its the proper thing to do, right?) but when I saw the difference between computer calligraphy and regular, I actually liked the computer better. I truly did. Now w/ technology, I think no one would tell the difference, its that beautiful.

And the price difference is OUTRAGIOUS, like more than half. The other great thing about it is they can turn your envelopes around in like 48 hours versus weeks. And if you have any last minute additions they can handle in a timely manner.


Believe me I wasn\t originally going this direction, but again, its looks great.

My cousin got married 10/14/2002 and it was gorgeous out. That is kind of what made me decide for an October wedding.. Not to HOT and not to COLD

Well, sorta the same here - I used the same font as the invite company had used on my invites but unfortunately the ink wouldn't stick to the paper, so I sent them to my invite company, they did them on their computer and they used a cool gold metallic ink (but still on the computer!)

fh just e-mailed me that fbil is giving him problems b/c his daughter isn't my flower girl.

You have to be kidding me... I am ready to tell FBIL TO STAY HOME

I feel your pain. FH told me his sister would spend the entire day pouting if we didn't get her a corsage because we're getting his mother one! I am not talking about a 16 year old - I am talking about a grown woman with GRANDCHILDREN!!!
