You have to be kidding me... I am ready to tell FBIL TO STAY HOME

I feel your pain. FH told me his sister would spend the entire day pouting if we didn't get her a corsage because we're getting his mother one! I am not talking about a 16 year old - I am talking about a grown woman with GRANDCHILDREN!!!

So it is not just my FH's family...

October can be a complete crap shoot as far as the weather goes. Friday could be cold and Saturday could be hot, you just never know. I am having my ceremony inside b/c I just dont like the heat and want to sweat as least as possible.

On October 15th??? The weather is going to be PERFECT!!! It will definitely be warm enough for an outdoor ceremony, or a, oh I don't know outdoor cocktail hour I've decided to be insanely optimistic about the weather - I'm paying no attention to the hurricaine prediction in the Farmers' Almanac.

NOPE, I can't stand the fact that the FIL's want to be involved with planning, Its like no offense but it's my damn wedding I am the damn bride and I will do all the damn planning, unless I ask for help dont DOO CRAPOLA! haha ahh vented sorry I have learned to just mkae my self happy and the groom!

I am right with you guys. The latest is my FSIL, TOLD me her kids are going in the bridal suite to go to bed because our wedding ends to late. Never asked, just told me. So I told her no they werent, that it is my room and I am the bride. If she wants to do things her way to go get remarried.

In that sense, I guess I am lucky, FH will stand up to his sisters about anything and everything. His parents both passed away, so no in law drama.
On another note, I feel a little sad that he isnt close with his sisters, they are a little older and have teenage kids and I have met them TWO times since we have met. I am assuming the shower will be the third time
Luckily, I have enough family to make up for his lack.

I also need to add that we booked our officiant this evening. I am so happy. We booked with Pastor Mike Cassara, he is amazing. I felt so comfortable and I know our ceremony will be very memorable.
Tomorrow night i am going shopping with MOH to continue the quest for a dress and also to go to Fortunoff b/c I desperately need to register for more stuff

I had a wedding to go to on 8/19 so one of my BM's had to tell me it was my shower I WANTED TO GO TO THE WEDDING SO BAD ...and I had to be told about the shower but she told me not to tell the other girls I know & to act surprised... She really had no choice but to tell me but it just $ucks!
