Hi everyone!!
THANKS for starting this!! Felt kinda left out lol. My wedding date is October 13th, 2006. FRIDAY THE 13TH!! I started doing things so early...that now all I am left doing, are the small things. I'll admit there are ALOT of small things...wow! Having fun...but it can be stressful at times...especially when you are at work trying to look up stuff and your boss catches you! LOL! I can't believe it's 4 months away.. WHERE DID THE TIME GO??

The time is going by so fast! The summer is jam packed with little things to do and bbq's and parties ahhhhh! Ditto on the doing things early, now we are looking for lil projects to do.....

I just visited my dress and tried it on, but I will do my first fitting in August. At first I wasn't nuts about my dress anymore but all the LIW brides made me feel so much better, I am looking at the pics again and still love it

I did my visit when it came in, but my actual first fitting on August 12.
My dress' eta is August 14....I started to worry that it wasnt here yet ( I ordered in October) and the very sweet woman at the store called the co. and they said it should be in on August 14...
And now I am on the hunt for a new florist....I am definately starting to get stressed out

Strange how I feel like time is flying by but I STILL can't get anything done for the wedding. I don't know...I feel like I have SO much to do and when I look at my 'to do' list I don't even know where to begin. We ordered the invites about 2 weeks ago...they should be in any day. PLUS--we just went into contract on a house a week ago, so that has taken much of our time.
I know the feeling! I'm sort of stressing out inside because even though i have 4 months left, i have quite a few weekends booked up already (between weddings to go to, baby showers, etc) so it's like... sh*t when am i going to do what i need to do?!?!?!
Oh and did i mention that we close on our land this week and have secured all permits and what not to start building. So not only will i be planning our wedding, but i'll have to pick out colors and designs for our house at the same time! (let me just say... yes i'm insane for doing both at the same time)
Well my good news from the weekend is i finally found a wedding band! Well sort of. I've been to 12 places and have found nothing since my e-ring is quite difficult to match with anything. But i found a band i love. We're going into the city on tuesday to check out and a few things and if we don't find anything better, we'll be ordering that ring! You have no idea how relieved i am because it has been driving me nuts!
Im with you! We gutted our townhouse, so now I am picking everything out, and trying to wedding plan, its insane! The house has really taken my mind off of the wedding, but every so often I will sit down and think about it, and become very overwhelmed

yes, August for me also. but I went for a 'fitting' apptmt just to get a price quote based on what needed to be done.
gave me an opportunity to try on a few necklaces with the dress!

I was considering Fri the 13th........could've gotten good discounts on vendors! But my church wasn't available that date, of all things! or i would have done it!
actually, getting the church was the biggest factor in the date. I wanted Oct 7th, a Saturday in early Oct, now I have the last Fri in Oct!

I am doing my first fitting on July 17th. My mother lives in Florida and will be up that weekend for her birthday. Aside from that she wouldn't have an opportunity to see the dress until the wedding!
