OCTOBER ladies, come on in! This thread is for us!!!!!!

Thank you girls for your response to my post, thats what the vendors are telling me. I know its crazy, I already know what invites, FG dresses and BM's gifts, favors I am doing. So it comes time to order them I will be happy. I know its four months until our weddings. I am tired of hearing my family and vendors them me this. I think they need a little dose of BRIDEZILLA

finally got all of my bridesmaids to put in their dress orders!! Don't know why it took so much prodding for them to actually pick up the phone and call in their measurements. it was driving me crazy! We had so much luck finding a dress everyone loved and was excited about and then a month went by without anyone completing the order after the official color was picked.

Did anyone else have this problem with needing to chase down bridesmaids?

I mean, everything is resolved now, complete order is in, thank goodness, but I'm just curious if anyone else went through this.

When I have been a bridesmaid, I have ordered the dress pronto!

errr...i still need BM dresses (2 in black so not so hard, right), FG dresses, limos, invites and more.
UG!!!!!

Yeah.... just got back from looking at my 4th proof for invitations and I have officially approved them! The woman told me that they should be ready in about 1 week!!! That's just going to make it too real when I have the invitations in my hands!!!

I have to stop looking in magazines because I keep seeing new things I want to make!!

Ok, so, my streak of luck with booking vendors on the first meeting has officially come to an end. FH and I met with an officiant and I wasnt overwhelmed by him, so I am going to make an appt with another one that I have been checking into. Not such a big deal, at least I have another one in mind who I know is open on our date since I checked with him before.


So---No Check On the Officiant For Now

Tomorrow I have alterations for my MOH dress for my cousins wedding which is next friday, whoohoo, once that is over, I can fully concentrate on my own wedding

Bought my MOH & BM gift yesterday and picked out my invitations tonight.

Still have left:

RD
Tuxes
Buy toasting flutes & cake cutter
FG Dress
Decide about limos
Pick out ceremony songs
Make list of must have pictues
Make play & do not play lists for DJ
Finish getting addresses for invites

I feel like I'm on the ball but time is going so fast - I can't believe I am closing in on five months already!

WE GOT OUR WEDDING BANDS YESTERDAY!!!!!!!! You girls have no idea how relieved i am! I was stressing for months now! And of course i found something perfect and that i love! I'm all warm and fuzzy inside now!

i love it when things work out or fall into place!

Lets see... i still have to:
-order tuxes
-order FG dresses (although i have to drive an hour and 45 minutes to them )
-order flip flops for my BM's --> beach wedding
-order M&M's down the road for favors
-buy hair clip or combs
-and i think that's it. It's probably not, but i can't think of anything else right now!

Laura - Just think how much time you saved with all the other first bookings. So if going to meet with a different officiant is the only 2nd thing you have to do, you are still WAYYYYYYY ahead of the game. Good luck with #2.

I know, I dont mind at all that the first officiant wasnt what I wanted, now I have something to go by. I was disappointed b/c he got a lot of good reviews, but the whole meeting was kind of bizarre, but at least now FH knows what I go through with all the planning
I was actually fine with the officiant at first, but when I was driving home I started doubting the whole meeting, then spoke to my mom and I realized how he just wasnt what i wanted for my ceremony and starting reading some other posts about officiants, I knew I couldnt be totally happy with the ceremony he would provide, oh well, back to the drawing board for now

yes, the address collection! We're diving into that this weekend. Not looking forward to it!

I know how you all feel about the addresses, I have all the ones from my side, but of course, FH is STILL working on his. He probably thinks if he doesnt get them all, he can just hand them out or something .....over my dead body

I got my alterations done on my dress for my cousins wedding today. Phyllis is wonderful, she was so helpful and is going to work with me on a finding or making me a shrug for my wedding dress too
