Hi everyone! I need some help! My FH needs to pick out his tuxes, but can't figure out the right color scheme. My dress is ivory and the BMs are wearing a dark chocolate brown with champagne sash. I would love for the guys to be in a tan/light brown/champage tux, but not sure if it will look right this time of year. Will it look too summery? Please help!

I think that the tan tuxes will look great against the chocolate brown dresses!!!!!!! I wanted to do a medium grey tux for the guys but DH was SET on black... Those men, so traditional. LOL

I personally do not like brown and black together so I would not do a black tux.....but there is now chocolate brown tuxes you could always try those....they really look nice.

I love the idea of tan or champagna tuxes. I'm getting married in October too and I wanted my Fiance to wear one but he wont. To traditional. :( But I think it would be perfect for that time of year.

I'm a traditionalist and like black tuxes with white shirts. I do like black and brown together. They compliment each other. The vests and ties can accent the colors of the BM dresses, maybe a deep champagne, while FH can wear ivory to match your dress.

My gress is lt. gold and my girls are wearing chocolate also. The guys are wearing black tuxes w/ chocolate vests. I didn't like black & chocolate together at first but the girl @ Mens Wearhouse showed me how it looked and it looked really nice. FH is going to wear black but we need to go next week and find a vest that will match my dress. Also, if your wearing ivory, the guys shirts should be ivory, the white will clash w/ your dress.

I think they would look ok. Did you actually go and look at the black tuxes with the chocolate brown vest and tie? I saw it when I was looking for our GM and I thought it looked sharp!!!! I almost went with chocolate for the BM but ended up with cinnamon.

I'm having the same problem. I think I'm going with black tuxes. GM with brown vest and tie and FH with chaqmpagne vest and tie. My dress is champagne. I'm still undecided though.

I had tan suits for the guys and my BMs were in chocolate brown. My wedding was Oct 1.

I am doing black with champagne vest because my dress is white with a champagne sash but the ivory is hard to match up so BRING YOUR DRESS TO THE TUX PLACE. I had to change my guys three times cuz ivory is funny could be yellowy,buttry, chanmpagny, diamond white even though they say ivory Be Careful Made Almost made that mistake cuz I wanted the khaki tuxes
