We're planning our honeymoon for the end of October to the beginning of November. I would love to go to a Sandals or another all inclusive in the Caribbean but it's hurricane season....any recommendations for my October/November honeymoon??

Thanks for the response...we're most likely gonna do either Hawaii or Tahiti but I kinda wanted something all inclusive but I guess theres not too many all inclusive options during hurricane season.

FH and I went to Jamaica at the end of Nov into Dec and the weather was perfect! It's not hurricane season at that time. The only time it rained, the sun was still shining and it was more of a mist than a rain and it lasted about 2 minutes tops.

Jamaica is beautiful!! My fiance and I actually went there last summer, we stayed at Sandals Whitehouse...it is absolutely gorgeous there!! But I'm going to definitely look into Aruba now....thanks

We are going to St. Lucia in the beginning of November. I was told that it is the tail end of hurricane season and even if it wasn't, it's rarely sees hurricanes.

Re: October/November Honeymoon
I don't want to rain on anyone's parade but we went to Aruba 1st week of Nov 2010. Everyone told us, it never rains, sun is shining all the time, the water is so clear.
Well, it does rain in Aruba and I have the pics to prove it. There was a huricane in the area that week and it was affecting Aruba indirectly. And when I say it rained, it rained. All the bars/restaurants outside at out hotel needed to close it was so bad. And they are completely unprepared for rain. The puddles aroun the capital and cars getting stuck. Also, the hurricane was affecting the beach. The beaches were all red flagged and they were telling people not to go in the water. The seaweed was crazy gross and disgusting on the beach,
We still had a fantastic time, but it does rain in Aruba.

What about Paradisus Playa Conchal in Costa Rica. It's all inclusive. The country is beautiful. We spent our honeymoon there in the beginning of Oct. 2010. Travel agents say it's their rainy season but it literally only rains there in the morning and it stops by 7am. It's also great because it's the slow season there so you won't have tons and tons of people around. They offer Royal Service which is great. There's a royal service pool so there's no kids jumping around in it.

We went to Punta Cana and our wedding was in early October. Aruba is always a nice and safe choice too!

My travel agent told us to stay out of the hurricane path and stay in the Carribean (DH didn't want Mexico, and everything else was too expensive) we were to go to St. Lucia or Aruba. Aruba has A LOT more to do outside of the resort then St. Lucia. St. Lucia is BEAUTIFUL but everything is through Sandall's so you're pretty much stuck.
ETA: We went to St. Lucia but if we could do it again we both agree we'd go to Aruba (we went 2 years ago and it was AMAZING)!

Hawaii or Mexico
Mexico has some great all inclusive resorts that are even nicer than Sandals!
I went on a cruise this November in the Caribbean and the weather is hit or miss. It rained in the morning and cleared up in the afternoon, but it kinda but a damped on the mood cause it wasn't a typical Caribbean day.
Good luck!!

I have a similar experience to this... DH and I went to Antigua and stayed at the Sandals there. It was beautiful and we definitely enjoyed ourselves, but if we could do it again, I think we both agree that we would go back to Hawaii... we went there 2 years ago and it was STUNNING!
