So I know I am planning a wedding and all, but I have only been to two weddings... EVER....
One was when I was 8 and the other one was recent.
I now have to go to the wedding on Saturday... I don't even know what to wear. The wedding invitations doesn't say anything about attire.
It is at a place called Baku Palace in Brooklyn.
Any suggestions of what to wear? Where to shop? What to bring (I am assuming money)??
TIA!!!

Re: Odd question...
If it doesn't say anything about attire, it is probably not black tie. I'd wear a cocktail dress of some sort. I have found many of my dresses at Nordstrom and Lord and Taylor, they have sections of dresses that would be appropriate for a wedding. Also, as for what to bring, I always just bring them a nice wedding card with a check inside. They will probably have some sort of card box or birdcage that will hold all the cards that their guests bring.

baku palace is a russian restaurant/catering hall. you can wear a fancy cocktail dress or something along those lines. is it at night?
oh, and yes....bring money w/ a card, they will most likely have a card box to drop it into. what day and time is the wedding?

You should be fine in a cocktail dress, Bloomingdales has alot of clearance for dresses.
Bring a monetary gift

You can never go wrong with a cocktail dress!! You should give money in a card as a gift.
