When did everyone start looking and getting invitation samples? Our wedding is in Sept.. Am I already starting late???
I've been looking online for awhile just to get an idea. I've ordered some samples and I'm going to a shop tomorrow afternoon to get an even better idea. I don't think you're too late, it just depends what you want. Customizing will take longer, so leave yourself some time.
I started a year in advance because the person I wanted to use had a long wait list.

I've been looking so when it's time to order I have a good idea of what I want. We are ordering through our venue and my wedding is in December and when I called my venue I was told that we don't have to worry about ordering invitations until July. To me that is it seems like it's cutting it close but I am sure they know what they are talking about.

Same here!! ive been on that mission for the past couple of weeks...from prices, ideas, designs, ughhh... I narrowed it down to a beautiful design from wedding paper divas...
I used Cathy from An Invitation Sensation! I was really last minute with it and she was amazing!
