Does anyone know of a good company that does off-premise catering? FH and I are thinking of having a backyard engagement party but catered with waiter service, bar, tent, etc. Please let me know if you know of and/or have any experience with vendors in Long Island/Queens. Thanks : )

we are doing the same thing, and we were looking into doing a barbeque caterer, where they come in and set up grills and bbq everything, here are some things we found:
also, not sure where you are from but my parents always get food from Cow Palace catered (they are out east). The food is great. We got food catered from there for my dad's retirement party a few years ago!

My friends use Cow Palace and they always do a great job.

Thanks very much . The BBQ idea sounds like a lot of fun! Cow Palace sounds great but I think it's a little too far out (we're in Queens). I'll let you know if I found out about any others.
