Not sure where you live in Nassau, but there is a place in Hicksville called Rosales Salon. It was $99 for the first time you go (would call to make sure it still is). Very no frills, bare minimum kind of place but those are the ones that they do an awesome job and are super friendly. Had mine done there recently.

ok so I did some research and I called three places that were recommended (including the Bedford and mane) all three places sound great but I landed up with aura salon(bellmore),they do one day keratin but there product is the lowest percentage of formaldehyde(0.02%)(I double checked with the manufacturer ). there not the cheapest though,the other salons were about $190.This one is $250. I am going for a consult this week. I have had the Japanese done in queens for 7 years and besides being a pain to get to It slowly screwed up my hair.

Do any of the above-mentioned places or anywhere else people know of specifically do the 1-day keratin treatment? A co-worker recommended a place to me that will do it, but it's in Long Island City and while I will go if that's the only place that does it, it's a REALLY long commute for me. I plan on doing it maybe a month before my wedding and 3 days is just too long in June to not be able to tie my hair back or even wash it!
