Kris welcome to our group of Swanies!!

I just found out that the Swan Club did some updating on the Contessa Room!!!

No more mirrors, new carpet and supposedly more space on the dance floor.

I am going to have to take a trip when I make a pmt next month to check it out.

I just found out that the Swan Club did some updating on the Contessa Room!!!

No more mirrors, new carpet and supposedly more space on the dance floor.

I am going to have to take a trip when I make a pmt next month to check it out.

Yup; when we looked at the Swan Club initially, they were renovating that room - putting in the new carpet, to be exact. That was during the last weekend of March. When we sat down with Jordana this past Sunday, I asked about if any renovations were planned (we're in the Camelot) and she said Camelot was renovated recently, so nothing's planned there, and that Contessa was JUST renovated. She also noted that there are no other renovations in the plans and that the front was also recently renovated around th etime when Camelot was.

Since we're not in the Contessa (and there was an event getting set up/bridesmaids running about and such..) we didn't peek in. I'm sure it looks great though!

For anyone in the Camelot...what colors are you doing/thinking of doing? I'm all over the board with this one. One day I was royal purple, one day it's lavender, then clover, then light green, then blue (in varying shades). Sheesh! We're a daytime wedding in the spring so I'm thinking lighter colors would work best.

Technically, your wedding is the day before the 1st day of summer. I am in the beginning of June so I am thinking of more richer shades of Spring colors/and or Summer colors: Yellows, Corals, blues, etc. But I am still up in the air as to exactly what colors I am using. I love so many colors, but at the same time I want to steer away from the usual colors that you see at a wedding. (Like the color pink).

Dammit I really hope they didn't ruin it. I really like the mirrors and how it made the room look more spacious. I'll be so very upset if it looks ugly now.

Can they just do that? Change a room after you've already booked it?

Im in the Camelot room, Im doing yellows, hot pinks and bright oranges...very summery (sp?). I cant wait!!

Yes...I think they can just update it. Im kinda glad that they changed it. I wasn't in love with the mirrors. I felt it was a little 1980's.

I never looked at the Contessa room when I went so I dont know what it originally look like , but I was there on Friday for my lunch (OMG DELISH!!!) and I thought the room was very very pretty!

Just joined the site!

I am a 2010 Swan Club Bride to be! My tasting is tonight! My fiance and I are so busy with work to make the tasting lunch so they agreed to have a private tasting for us! So excited!

Has anyone had a tasting yet? We wanted to do it before the first deposit goes down!
