Re: Offical Chateau Briand Thread
I had to change my wedding date from Aug 2, 2008 to Aug 10, 2008 bc FMIL is a seventh day adventist. she was crying bc she wanted to have ppl there 2 show off her son 2 so we change the date. My pastor said he would do the ceremony later in the day because he has service on sunday morning.

Re: Offical Chateau Briand Thread
I am in the Saturnia room and my cocktail hour is in the Promenade. I am also having my ceremony at Chateau and it will be outside, but if it is raining it will be in DaVinici. My banquet manager is Tom and he has been wonderful. Do they provide the menu for the guests or is it something that I should do? Also, do they provide the placecards?

They provide one menu per table as well as placecards. I am running with a theme so will not be using them.

Thats what my BM, Thomas Wright, told me. but I'm not sure how that'll look in there....the cieling is already pretty low, and its arched, so it might be weird.....don't know. my reception is in that room and I kind of like it the way it is now.....JMO

what do you mean by draping it? Is it the drapes that was on the take home folder. I did not even talk to the about the drapes. I loved the look of that. It would go w/ my theme. I am going there this week because we need to sign the sign the credit card receipt. I will ask her about the drapes.

are you sure it was in the Normandy? perhaps it was in the Saturnia.......If it was indeed in the Normandy, I would imagine that the florist did that.
