Ok I figured to create the official Westbury Manor 2008 thread for all WM brides (and those who want to peak ) because wellllll we dont have one. I did found one but its from 2003 and its over 100 pages long. So come in and enjoy. HAPPY PLANNING
ok now my cousin is soooo confused when to book- would you do a friday night, sat day, she cant do a sat evening- cant guarantee that many people, or sun evening? how much is the viennese hour but i think she only can do that if she has an evening wedding- i'm going with her today to visit westbury manor- i hope she books b/c i know alot of dates are booked already. shes very excited!!!
I say Friday night or Sunday night. On Sun the wedding is over at 12 AM, trust me people wont want to leave, lol. I beleive the VH is $15.00. The first thing my BM asked me was 'do you want the VH' and I said OF COURSE, hahaahah so she included the price of that into the price pp. But please let me know how it goes when you visit the WM, I hope your cousin gets everything she wants
I'm not doing the vieanese hour, but i definately want the 3 fountains! I'm so excited about those!!
OHHHHHH those 'make it three times as sweet' fountains are to die for, chocolate, caramel, and white chocolate. They will be showcased on March 14 at WM, I cant wait to see them and dig in. Having these fountains is like having a mini VH, YUMMYYYYYYY

The coco fountain is extra, I thought it came with the VH but it doesnt. So I asked my BM if it was included in the VH and she said no its extra. So she was trying to get us a better price and she was like forget it I am going to give it to you at no extra charge. I was like YAYYYYYYYYYY that is awesome. So you can try to talk them into it and negociate if you want something. They are really good at adding things on for free. You get sooooooo many things when you book with WM, especially the food. For Friday i am not sure what the min for the manor room is for sat its 200
well, we are not going to visit today b/c there is a wedding going on & she wanted to see both rooms the manor * garden b/c she is not sure how many people she will invite. we will probably do it during the week b/c shes here on vacation .
The Garden Room and Manor Room are both georgeous so no matter where you have your party, both rooms are emmaculate. I have visited teh WM and they were setting up for a wedding and I saw the Garden room all set up for the CH and WOWOWO and I saw the Manor room all set up for the reception and another WOWOWOWO and another time I saw the Manor room set up for a ceremony and WOWOWOWOW amazing. I saw the room with white linens and pink sashes and with the red sashes, both colors are very pretty. My BM said that they are bringing in new linens and new color sashes, a sage green and some others. I dont know which one to pick. Did you guys decide on the colors? Are you going to have the linen colors incorporated with your wedding color scheme? Or are you just going to pick the color that looks the best on the seats/tables???

I wanted my colors to to be lavender before we even booked up the RH, and I wasn't sure how well lavender would work at WM... but then I saw they had pink linens and figured I could work pink in with the flowers and have everything be lavender and pink! Do you think that would work well in the Manor room?

They said they are getting new colors so maybe one of the color sashes will be a light purple??? IF so, you can have that color linens incorporated with pink and purple flowers. SOooo pretty
is it true that the garden room doesnt have a bar & you have to go to the library room? so my cousin said she might pick the manor room but then it depends on the minimum for both rooms. sat night she said she cant do but she might do the garden room for a sat even b/c she said she called & they have a low minimum. she was thinking of inviting 120 people any more she will do the manor room but it will be a friday or sunday evening

Ohhh I would love that if I could have light purple linens! I hope that's one of the new colors!
thats great that they will have different color linens- i have to let my cousin know. she doesnt really want the typically color. she actually has to book there first
I definately agree, I didn't really want the typical burgandy color, it's just not one of my faves... Is she going to book soon?
Yeah even though the burgundy color is pretty, its not my fav either. It would be really nice if someone is doing that color scheme for a winter wedding, but for us that is having a summer wedding, it willl look like christmas and a little off season
