How do I get out of it??? Its during the work day and I just don't think I can do it again this year!

I think its just a regular lunch - i'm guessing about 2 hours - they won't let me take the day off and there's no way they are not going to let me not go without a real good excuse

Ahhh that su cks. Talk about how excited you are about it for the day(s) leading up and that morning and then have someone call you a few hours before with an emergency.
