So, FH and I both work in the same office. Maybe about 50 employees.... We are def close to some and are inviting them to the wedding.... Then there are others, Id love to invite, but just cant have everyone, its so pricey!!
So i am getting ready to send my STD's and dont know what to do... Send to just the ppl we are inviting and hope the others dont get too upset and gossip or what??!?!?!?!?!
Any advice or help is much appreciated!!!! TIA Girls!

Re: office invites...
Honestly, i wouldn't send STDs to anyone at work ... think about it - what if that co-worker quits? would you still want to invite them?
plus, if you send STDs to some and not others, then some may get offended.

I agree...dont send them to work. I'm sure people will say 'I got your save the date' and other people will be offended.

I have the same problem. My fh and I work for my dad and basically have to invite the 10 employees with guests so that's about 20 people. I don't think I'm sending them std's because I don't want every close customer friend and business partner asking where their invite is because they will all talk about it. Unfortunately not everyone can be invited but no need to antagonize in your work/business environment.

The first thing totally happened to me--I went to my co-workers wedding, sent STD, then she quit like 10 months before the wedding. I still invited her, but she ended up RSVPing yes and then making an excuse and not showing at the last minute. It was really suspicious, 'family situation' and she told me over gchat. Weird.
Also, 2 of my co-workers just got married to each other and people definitely got offended who weren't invited....it created major drama! Be discreet for sure, and make sure those who are invited know who else is invited so they don't put their foot in their mouth!

We didn't send STDs to our coworkers. You just never know what can happen with those relationships. I don't even know which co workers I'm inviting yet! I actually can't invite them all, someone has to work that day! LOL.

Re: office invites...
Honestly, I only sent my STD's to my family and close friends who I know are not going anywhere. If you think about it...even though you may be close with your co-workers, some of them might move on and lose touch. To avoid gossip and hard feelings, I would not give anyone at work an STD. I didn't. Don't know if that makes sense to you, but hope it helps.

It def makes sense! I really appreciate all of the feedback! I didnt even think of these things, just was caught up in the moment and excited about sending out my STD's.
But this is all great advice and I spoke to FH about it and will now be not sending any STD's to co-workers!! You girls rock!

Only send STDs to close friends and family. Co-workers are a tricky lot.
