Why do people who work in an office, with poor ventilation, insist on making popcorn and burning it.....that is up there with heating fish/seafood up in the microwave for lunch! There should be office eating ettiquette classes!

I agree. We have a woman in our office that heats up the SMELLIEST things in the microwave everyday and it lingers for HOURS!!!

This popcorn smells soo burnt. I closed my office door and the smell is permeating through the wood door! UGH!

I agree. They do it at my job all the time. And people microwave weird things. and then the whole building smells of it for days!

i very much agree with you! i used to work next to a lady who (not lying) used to bring tuna fish everyday to work. EVERYDAY!

I used to work with someone who would heat up broccoli often. UGH. I love broccoli, but it can STINK sometimes.

ahhhh my mom burnt popcorn the other day and it took DAYS to get the smell out!! she tried everything...but my house smelt like a burnt mess!

I work with a woman that eats the most disgusting things for lunch. I can't stand when she brings things that need to be heated. It smells for hours and it is the most unidentifiable odor, I couldn't even tell you what she is eating!

One of the guys I work with loves popcorn and one day he burned it and no one on our floor could breathe, it was really bad and stunk for days

They're probably the same people that eat hot food on the train. I love egg & cheese sandwiches but i don't want to inhale the smell for my 20 minute train ride. It's disgusting.

We have someone who eats popcorn on our floor almost everyday. One day she burned it REALLY bad--it not only smelled, but it made your eyes sting she burned it so bad.
At my other job, my co-worker not only burned the popcorn but she started a fire because she left it in too long.

Try Indian food eaten by two individuals (at least twice a week each) who insist on heating it up in a shared microwave....when I try to heat up my macaroni I can taste curry.

It's so annoying when people do this. The WORST thing that someone brought into my office was SCALLOPS, leftover! Ugh, the stench went down the hall and my students were asking what that horrible smell was. She was like, what smell? I almost barfed!
