Anghuy, I have a band that I know for a long time. They're a German band but they play American music as well. I know all the guys in the band so they fit my style
I hope to do a food tasting over the summer. Our first payment is due July 16th so I hope to do it around that time.
I'm not having my ceremony there. I'm getting married in the Church of the school that I teach at. St. Anastasia in Douglaston. I want my students at the church to see me get married!

Not a plm, I think it's a chain effect, when I first started posting on here alot of girls & some boys..lol helped me with alot of practical and personal advice..
There are alot of truly genuine people on here, so I figure lets keep the karma going :)

Im also getting married at the Swan Club, FH and I are using the Camelot Room. We are actually going over the weekend to take a walk around the grounds and see what the flowers are like this time of the year. We also did the tasting back in December and the food was excellent, we are very happy with them. Tomorrow is exactly one year, I can't wait!!!

My cousin used the Camelot Room, it's sooo pretty. FH & I are going over there next week, to make our next payment. I can't wait to see what the flowers look like

Okay.. I've booked trials with Oksana & Mya..
Oksana recommended Mya to me for hair, says she does the best up do's
My trials are on May 13th. I figured to try and do them around the same time of year as my wedding to more or less get an idea of what it would look like pre-summer sun.
I've spoken with Oksana three times on the phone and she has the best personality, she's very down to earth and you can tell she LOVES people and her job.
Her rates are VERY VERY resonable, $30 for a trial and $75 day of.. which is nothing compared to others I have called.
With Mya, her trial is $55 and day of $100.
I will def post pics after the trials and give better reviews..
Both woman are vendors on here..

Oksana's trial is at her home is queens. Mya works in a salon.. I'm at work but if you want the name and address I can FM to you.. And yes I am very excited..

I sent my girl over to Glenmar to check out their work. She said it looked real nice... however they quoted her a $2300 package... and frankly thats way out of our budget.
We are having a small wedding and $2300 is more than half of the total Swan Club bill. I cannot justify paying that kind of price on photography.
I may end up using L&S entertainment (their DJ). I gotta see. I am going to try to attend their show on the 25th (I believe). I DJ myself.... so it pains me to have to pay for a DJ. We'll see... I am going to try to find a DJ that will give me a 'DJ discount'.

DJ, you should talk to Glenmar again, I told them what I could afford and they built a package around what we could afford. They are pretty easy to work with that way.

Hi There! What a small world-I met with Mike who told me I could have the Camelot room on 7/16/05 in the evening but realized I have fewer people now-hence (if I have reception at Swan Club-haven't decided yet) I will be there on that date in the Garden Room.
