Ok, stupid question... we don't have to pay for valet service right? I don't have my contract with me but I thought it was included in the price. Help!

I think it was just crowded when we left..we got to the head of the line quick..and he collected a bunch of tickets at the same time..but our car took a while to come..approx. 15 min.. ...i'm sure they'll have be more staffed during the weekend...

Re: Official '06 Fox Hollow Thread...
To avoid the crazy valet rush we parked by the Inn. Besides, my fiance had a bunch of training materials in his car that had people's social security numbers and other personal information on them, and with all the horror stories about valets that have been going around, we wanted to avoid any trouble.
Although, I'm sure that the Scotto brothers wouldn't employ crooked valets

I didn't touch the wedding cake itself b/c like you i thought they were there more to see what they look like. I did have various pices (yes, i'm an animal) of the smaller sample cakes that were right next to the big cakes, and they were all delicious. don't ask me what i ate, i ate everything, and each one was better than the other. i think i liked the cannoli the best.

there were smaller cakes (one layer and round) right next to the big ones...I assummed those are the ones we were supposed to taste.

Hi Jenn,
Welcome to the boards, and congrats on booking the FH!!!!
I honestly think you should set up a budget first, deciding how much you want to spend on each vendor, and then start researching your vendors, and of course, everyone on here has some great recm'dations.
I would call FH and ask them again if they have food tastings, when they obviously say 'no, we don't.' Just ask if there's a way for you to come to the restaurant to try it out, and if they'd offer some type of a break - they will most probably say yes. Doesn't hurt to try right?
A DOC - is a day of coordinator - they are basically the wedding organizer on your special day - handeling all the vendor issues, final payments, lighting up candles, etc, etc, etc.
