Official 2008 Chateau La Mer Thread

Since its a slow day, I figured I'd start the thread. I will keep a list of the dates that CLM brides are getting married (as we do with the official date thread).

As was said, i think this will be a good thread as we get closer to the dates and have questions about CLM.

Thanks! I've looked at your review and pictures and everything looked amazing! I was actually looking at the same bm dresses as you.. but we changed our date, so no more pink! But christmasy now

So did I!! i had an amazing time.. I just wish FH was there.. I wouldve danced more and in the wedding feel (especially during the ceremony) i was wishing he was there.

yours were the first pics and video i saw on CLM! I showed it to a few people too, i hope you dont mind, i just wanted people to get a feel for what the place looks like. Everything looked beautiful! i am having a daytime reception too.

I'm in the upstairs room - hmmm...while I'm writing here - do you t(N.Y.bride) think that having the light show from the dj is unnecessary since its going to be in the middle of the day - I guess I just mean - would it be a waste / ineffective?

absolutely! With those big windows and that gorgeous view the room is very bright. It would be a total waste of money!

BTW - There is a Valentines Dinner Dance at CLM and I am going with my DH!! Hopefully I will see some of you there? Its $70 I think....

You could always go for a tasting for free if you want, but if you missed the WOTY it might help you see the room during a party

I'm so happy to have my name on the CLM thread!!! I fell in love the instant I walked in to the Atrium room, and Lou is so awesome!

I went to the tasting last night... fantastic

I know.. i fell in love just by looking at the pictures on their website.. Once we went there I knew it!!! We have nick as our BM and he is amazing too.. FH and I loved the food at the tasting we went to back in May.. even though the pasta at TWOTY wasnt great.. i'm still pleased with CLM

Has anyone visited the area hotels yet or the suggested holiday inn express hotel?

I am making a point to do this next weekend. We all ready blocked at the holiday inn but i heard some nightmares about that place and i am going to see it in person. I know most of my guests want a hotel with transportation thats why we picked it out.
